Hello, my name is Sarah Ingwersen. I am a senior at the University of Iowa studying both Interdepartmental Health Sciences and Global Health with a minor in Spanish. I would love to work in Public Health all over the world, specifically with the health of migrants. I became involved with the Food Pantry at Iowa in the summer of 2016. I wanted to be a part of this project because I understand the impact of nutrition on health and I find it absurd that students are going hungry on a college campus that is in the middle of a state that helps grow the world’s food supply. I love the outdoors, traveling, reading, hanging out with friends, and Netflix of course. I also help lead a volunteer organization on campus called Students Today Leaders Forever.
